Elephant Back Safari ::
One of the best ways to explore the jungle is on an elephant back. Our resort offers Elephant Back Safari with trained elephant and Mahuti (driver). This enables you to penetrate deep into the jungle and grasslands to view many wild animals and bird species at close range. |

Canoe Ride ::
A dug-out Canoe ride over shallow rapids of the Rapti river flowing through wide grassland gives you the opportunity to view exotic species of birds, Crocodiles(Muggers and Gharials) basking in the sun along the banks. |

Bird Watching ::
The Chitwan National Park is a Bird-Watchers paradise. An early morning walk gives you the chance to view among the 450 species of resident and migratory birds as recorded in the park. |

Elephant breeding Centre ::
It is an exciting experience to visit the Elephant Breeding Centre and to watch the baby elephant play with their mothers. It is the only elephant breeding centre in Nepal and located about a km. away from the resort. |

Tharu Village Tour ::
The Tharu people of Nepal have been living close to the jungle for centuries. Our tour guide will take you to the Tharu Villages to witness the unique society of Tharu People and their rich traditions which reflect their intimate relationship with the natural world. You can also visit the Tharu Cultural Museum which has been recently established to exhibit their lifestyle. |

Cultural Program ::
After a day full of wild encounters, you will enjoy the cultural evening with Tharu Folk songs and dance performance by the Tharu people. |

Recommended optional activities ::
- An overnight at the Machan can be arranged to witness the night life of jungle animals.
- Jungle drive for about 4-5 hours to the Jungle Headquarter Kasara can be arranged for minimum of four people.
- Jungle walks.
- Cycling tour to explore local ethnic villages.
- 2000 lake visit for bird watching. |

What to bring ::
Torch light, Binocular, Insect repellent, Sun hat, Sun-glasses, Casual and comfortable clothes and shoes for easy movement while on safari. It is recommendable not to wear very bright clothes. During the winter (November to February) light sweater and Jackets may be necessary in the morning and evening. |
